State leaders need data to plan and act. EDD’s Labor Market Information Division (LMID) regularly collects, analyzes, and `publishes information about California’s labor markets that will help the State with workforce planning, labor market forecasting, recruitment, compensation studies, hiring, recruiting, training and job matching. In addition to employment and unemployment data, LMID provides economic development and planning information; industry and occupational characteristics, trends, and wage information; and social and demographic information. Most of these data are available for the state and counties. Some data are available for other geographic regions as well. LMID also provides technical assistance and customized data services for state and sub-state geographic areas. In this webinar, attendees will learn about the data that is collected and the various reports developed by EDD’s LMID.
